My name is Nina Careri. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and a doctoral candidate in education. Over the last ten years I've served my community as an advocate for homeless youth, a leader in social services, and a volunteer for local suicide prevention hotlines. My work is rooted in a humanistic, relational approach offering empathically attuned support to trauma survivors in navigating the pitfalls of the past and discovering new hope for the future.

I started IBLOOM THERAPY as a vessel for marrying my two loves: psychology and education. Our educational and relational journeys sometimes fall short of teaching us the skills and understanding human beings need to move through the world harmoniously. My goal is to help you learn how to navigate difficult emotions, rewire automatic thought patterns, make sense of all that you've been through, and practice behaviors that support the life you wish you were living! 

Though a New York native, I am currently practicing therapy and providing psychoeducational workshops via telemedicine with individuals, couples, and families in California. If you are seeking support in feeling more connected to the life you are creating, I welcome you to reach out!
